By using the Veridex platform, you agree to our framework for professional forensic auditing.

Veridex is an assistive forensic tool. Our terms emphasize that you, the user, retain final responsibility for the interpretation and publication of any media audited through our platform.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Veridex for malicious purposes, including the reverse-engineering of our detection heuristics or the intentional testing of synthetic media for the purpose of evading detection.

2. Assistive Nature of Tools

Veridex provides probabilistic forensic markers. You acknowledge that our outputs are not absolute truths and do not constitute legal advice or final evidentiary judgment.

3. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for compliance with jurisdictional laws regarding the use of AI detection and digital evidence, including the EU AI Act and local courtroom standards.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the media you upload for auditing. Veridex retains all rights to the forensic algorithms and reporting formats generated by our engine.

5. Limitation of Liability

Veridex Forensic Systems shall not be liable for any editorial mistakes, legal losses, or brand damage resulting from the interpretation of our probabilistic signals. High-stakes conclusions require expert human verification.
